The Truth to Power Foundation, established on Dec 23, 2016,  has a  mandate to encourage and support personal and community resilience in marginalized and vulnerable populations 

The Foundation provides both monetary and technical support to organizations and individuals working with communities that have faced protracted violence, social unrest and poverty. Resources are provided so that people can mitigate issues and conditions that perpetrate and perpetuate inequality, intolerance and prejudice. The Foundation creates safe spaces for discussion and collaboration, so that creative solutions are homegrown and implemented by local communities. Sectors of engagement include: prevention of anti-trafficking and intimate partner violence; combatting institutional and gender-based violence; supporting refugees and internally displaced people; providing access to public health services; initiating  client-centered psychosocial and trauma care; using sports as a healing modality; caring for the elderly and the forgotten; and eradicating  chronic hunger and malnutrition. Social justice is integrated as a crosscutting theme in enhancing the innate strength of individuals and communities.
